Dear and beloved brothers, fathers,
I greet you all during this Lenten season and invite you to our already traditional Lenten Stations of the Cross along the paths and trails in our parish. This time we will set out after the evening mass in Zlíchov on the Friday before Palm Sunday, that is April 11 at around 18:40. We will take bus number 120 to the stop Nádraží Hlubočepy and walk through Prokop Valley under the rock where the church of St. Procop stood to Klukovice Mill and from there through Klukovice to our church in Barrandov, where we can rest briefly in the Kristián café after the closing prayer.
All men of all ages are invited! This year, on the occasion of the recent anniversary of the martyrdom of Father Josef Toufar from Číhošť, we will have a symbolic Stations of the Cross with this, I believe, soon-to-be saint and patron of all Czech priests, deacons, seminarians, and students. A helpful resource for our journey will be a small publication by Miloš Doležal titled "Good Friday of the Číhošť Priest Josef Toufar," which was published in 2020 by the Podmelechovský Society.
